The Stigma

Homelessness does not automatically mean someone struggles with addiction. People can become homeless for many reasons, such as job loss, high living costs, health problems, or family issues. While some individuals without stable housing may also deal with addiction, many others do not. It’s important to recognize that homelessness is a complex issue, and making assumptions can lead to misunderstanding and stigma. Each person’s situation is unique, and compassion is essential when addressing homelessness.

The Faith

Qualitown is a mission from God, who loves all people, as reflected in John 3:16. We are followers of Christ Jesus, guided by His hand in this mission to save, restore, and offer hope to all who believe in Him.

Faith in God is a source of strength, comfort, and hope for people experiencing homelessness. When someone is facing uncertainty, loss, or hardship, believing in God helps them feel less alone and gives them something to hold onto during difficult times. Faith inspire trust that things can improve, encourage resilience, and offer a sense of purpose and dignity. For many, prayer and spiritual community provide emotional support, practical help, and hope for a better future. In this way, your faith in God can help the homeless find encouragement and courage to keep going, even when life is challenging.

Qualitown Home Foundation

At Qualitown Home Foundation, our Emergency Shelter program is dedicated to providing immediate, short-term housing for individuals and families who are experiencing homelessness. We understand that a sudden loss of stable housing can be overwhelming and frightening, which is why our shelter offers a safe and welcoming environment where people can find refuge from the streets or unsafe living situations.
