Store Supervisor

Qualitown Thrift Store is seeking a dependable and experienced Store Supervisor to support the daily operations of our Maple Ridge location.

The Store Supervisor will help lead the retail team, maintain excellent customer service, oversee the sales floor, and ensure the store remains clean, organized, welcoming, and operating efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support team members during daily store operations
• Provide excellent customer service and assist with customer concerns
• Help open and close the store as scheduled
• Monitor the sales floor and ensure merchandise is organized and properly displayed
• Support cashiers and assist with POS transactions when required
• Assign daily duties and help ensure tasks are completed
• Maintain Qualitown’s standards for cleanliness and organization
• Assist with receiving, sorting, pricing, and stocking merchandise
• Help train and guide new employees
• Communicate operational concerns to management
• Promote a positive, respectful, and productive workplace

Qualifications:

• Previous retail experience required
• Previous supervisory or team-lead experience preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Reliable, responsible, and organized
• Comfortable supervising and supporting a retail team
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Able to work weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Responsible For

• Supervise and support team members during daily store operations • Assign daily duties and ensure tasks are completed efficiently • Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer concerns • Monitor the sales floor and maintain a clean, organized store • Support cashiers and assist with POS transactions when required • Assist with opening and closing procedures • Help train, guide and motivate team members • Oversee stocking, merchandising and product presentation • Assist with receiving, sorting and pricing donated merchandise • Ensure store policies, procedures and safety standards are followed • Communicate operational issues and staff concerns to management • Help create a positive, respectful and productive work environment

Additional Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Relevant retail, supervisory or customer service experience will also be considered.
